The Past and The Present

Times have changed,

Circumstances have changed,

You have changed,

I have changed.

Remember the time when

we saw each other silently.

Remember the time when

our heart skipped a beat

on just looking at each other.

Remember the time when

just one glance made our day.

Remember the time when

we came at the terrace just

to have one sight of each other.

Remember the time when

silence did all the talking

Remember the time when

you drew my picture just

to see a smile on my face.

Remember the time when

we talked to each other for the first time

Remember the time when

my one smile made you

give treat to your friends.

Well those were the days

And now its the present

It's been fifteen years

And we are seeing each other again

I am with my husband

And you are still alone

I wish I was by your side

And you would be smiling

I know you haven't laughed for years

And somewhere it has been my fault

I wish I could bring it all back

But times have changed

Circumstances have changed

The only thing that hasn't changed

Is Our 'Love' for each other
